Industrial Designer - Visual Merchandising

About the position

We’re not just looking for a designer. We’re looking for someone who can rethink, reshape, and reimagine how brands come to life in retail spaces. If you thrive on crafting immersive visual experiences, displays that stop people in their tracks, activations that spark curiosity, and installations that feel more like stories than structures—this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Concept Development:

You’ll work closely with marketing and visual merchandising teams to bring brand narratives to life and conceptualising displays that don’t just look stunning but also engage and intrigue. Sustainable materials? Check. Future-forward design thinking? Absolutely.

Design & Prototyping:

Whether it’s sketching, CAD modeling, or prototyping, you’ll create visually arresting installations that balance aesthetics, function, and sustainability. Think recyclable components, experimental materials, and innovative approaches that push the boundaries of what’s possible in retail.

Project Management & Execution:

From ideation to installation, you’ll oversee timelines, budgets, and coordination with vendors. The challenge? Ensuring every execution aligns with the brand’s ethos while integrating sustainable practices.

Trendspotting & Innovation:

Retail is evolving fast. You’ll stay ahead of the curve, experimenting with new materials, lighting techniques, and interactive elements that elevate customer engagement while keeping an eye on sustainability and efficiency.

Sustainability as a Mindset:

This isn’t just a box to tick. It’s a fundamental part of how we design. You’ll find creative ways to integrate eco-conscious solutions into everything, from in-store displays to packaging concepts for luxury and jewelry brands.

What We’re Looking For

Educational Background:

A degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, experiential marketing, or industrial design. Preferably with a focus on sustainable retail experiences.

Technical Expertise:

Proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering.

Design Portfolio:

A strong design portfolio that showcases your ability to create engaging retail activations.

Problem-Solving Mindset:

A problem-solving mindset because good design is about balancing constraints and pushing boundaries.

Passion for Sustainability:

A passion for sustainability, someone who understands how to merge aesthetics with eco-friendly solutions.

Why Join Us?

If you’re excited about shaping the future of retail experiences where design, technology, and sustainability intersect this is your chance. You won’t just be executing projects; you’ll be helping define what’s next in the industry. Let’s build something remarkable together.
