HR Generalist

About the position

AWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist with a strong focus on recruitment to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various HR functions while leading the recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent. This role requires a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

We are looking for a candidate having up to 2-3 years of advertising agency experience, with an offering ranging from 4.2 - 4.8LPA.

Key Roles and Responsibility

Recruitment (60%)

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on job descriptions and requirements.
  • Conduct background checks and reference checks for potential hires.
  • Maintain a candidate database and manage applicant tracking systems.
  • Organise and participate in job fairs and recruitment events.

HR Generalist Duties (40%)

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations, including addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Support performance management processes, including performance appraisals and development plans.
  • Administer employee benefits and compensation programs.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Assist with training and development initiatives for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience as an HR Generalist with a strong focus on recruitment. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and labour legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
