We created a life size Rubik’s cube with all elements of a Guddwil community, then we made it float.

Challenge

What makes a house a home?

Guddwill Spaces has made over 1000 homes in the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area. They wanted their office space to communicate their ethos of crafting homes that match the needs of home buyers. Keeping in mind that each person is a unique individual, we asked ourselves, how can we make people feel a step closer to achieving their dream home?

Approach

Forty-three quintillion possibilities.

Everybody’s idea of home is different, trying to portray each one didn’t make sense until it did. Leveraging the concept of a Rubik’s cube, we realised that the challenge itself laid down the path for us. Each rotation of the cube reveals a different possibility on each surface.

Solution

Converging aspirations and achievements.

Each square on the cube represents essential factors that turn a house into a home. The possibility of rotation and visibility of three surfaces hints at the luxury of choice. A simple rotation can align all requirements of the viewer. The cube’s design speaks to the subconscious and the conscious depending on if the viewer glances at it or stares at the intricacies, we welcome both.
